by Stephanie Sang, Granted Consulting
September 20, 2011 7:00 - 9:00pm
‘Government grants aren't available for small businesses'. The conception is that government grants are only available for companies involved in technology or large manufacturers. Or, that you need to be innovative to create an iPad or biofuel cellular widgets to qualify.
Time to break that misconception and learn about what is available for your small business, yet growing businesses in B.C.
This session will answer the following questions:
Stephanie Sang holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from SFU and has held positions in industries including retail, hospitality and tourism, technology, and manufacturing. She is the founder of Granted Consulting, a small B.C. business dedicated to helping Canadian companies identify and leverage grant funding opportunities.
As VP of Business Development for a high-growth manufacturer in Taiwan, Stephanie worked on programs which included SBIR grant writing for government funding of over US$500,000. Since March 2011, she has already helped 60+ companies apply for, and be approved for government grants. She and her team have now expanded their work into Eastern Canada and prepare grant proposals for organizations in various industries.
