Ranting your way to Success November 8, 2011 Have you ever had a complaint you couldn’t let go of? A problem that wouldn’t go away? Ranting, or “Power Bitching” as we sometimes call it, is a powerful tool for clearing up irritations, upsets, and creating solutions that under other circumstances would keep causing stress-damaging your productivity and peace of mind. Tina Dietz will lead us through the process of getting from rant to solution, giving you a practical tool to use anytime, anywhere in your life and business. Tina Dietz is a woman with a mission of causing 10,000 thriving businesses. After earning a Master of Science in Counseling and Educational Development, Tina developed transitional high school to college programming with more than 250 local educators. She has created college education programs for some of the nation’s largest utility providers. Tina is also a veteran entrepreneur and coach with years of experience helping businesses grow and specializing in small businesses and startups. Her combined experience in education and entrepreneurship make her ideally suited to guide other entrepreneurs in developing their businesses with an eye on creating ventures where business is one fantastic part of your extraordinary life.
AutoNiche is a unique auto repair shop, featured on Breakfast Television and the Marilyn Denis Show, because founder Emily Chung brings a woman's perspective into the auto repair experience by offering an environment that is family-friendly and respectful of all clients. The staff at AutoNiche bring over 25 years of technical experience and over 15 years of automotive parts experience. AutoNiche's mission is: in faith and grace we strive to provide our customers with auto repair services that meet the highest standards of quality, honesty and integrity. While on maternity leave with her second child, Emily pursued the Automotive Service Technician program at Centennial College. She placed second in her class and received the Toronto Automotive Dealers Association apprentice scholarship. She holds a Hons. BA from the Unversity of Waterloo, has worked in public policy, psychological testing and human resources.
Entrepreneurial Moms (a subsidiary of Mom Ventures Media) launched it's new group in Toronto on October 4, 2011 under the leadership team of Bonnie Chan, Tereza Kumric and Doina Oncel. By getting connected to your spirit through whatever it is that is right for you, be - it yoga, meditation, religion, God - you stop looking outside of yourself for answers and realize that your purpose is already inside of you. Following your bliss, not just in the sense of your ideal business or ideal job will bring you to more bliss. Whether it is doing the job you love or horseback riding, if you are happy, great things happen - from connections to opportunities. Since then Ehm has remained in the spotlight as her multi-faceted media career has blossomed in television, radio, film, theater, journalism, songwriting, and music publishing.Erica is most well known for her work on television. She was the co-creator and host of Yummy Mummy, a parenting show for the music video generation, which aired on Life Network. Since becoming a mother in 2000, Erica has directed some of her energies into her children's world. She was contributing editor for What's Up Kids magazine delving into the world of parenting and literacy. Erica has also written three stage musicals for the family market. She is the author of the best-selling book, She Should Talk: Conversations with Exceptional Women about Life, Dreams and Success published by HarperCollins. Encouraging women and young people to follow their dreams is the central re-occurring theme for many of the projects to which Erica Ehm is committed. In keeping with this theme, Erica accepted a position on the Advisory Board of the Heritage Educational Foundation.
