| My name is Anita Helser and first I am a mom. I have two Step-children who are now almost all grown up, and a daughter who is 7 and has Autism. I have to plug this and hope that it offends none but please give to my Walk for Autism at: www.walkforautismspeaks.ca/team/Angels Now that is out of the way, I will tell you more about me. I am a CMA and am involved in a number of companies and charities. Outside of my Walk for Autism each year, I am on the board of directors for Karing 4 Kids Together (http://www.k4kt.org/) and I am very proud of what it does (creator pride). We work with local families in financial crisis who have a child with a special need to help that child one time (we cannot do ongoing support) with something special for that child. To date it has been things like a specialized trike or toys for Christmas. I love to help other women to succeed and prosper. It is my unltimate goal to create a center for women knowledge and empowerment in my local community. |
