| Brigid discovered Hypnotherapy while searching for a non pharmaceutical solution to her chronic pain. Her continued exploration of hypnosis led her to Dr Brian Pound’s hypnosis classes at UVIC, inspiring her to incorporate guided visualizations and meditation, fundamental to hypnotherapy, to enhance her health and well being.
Her growing understanding of the principals of hypnotherapy were also a benefit to friends and family and naturally progressed to training for certification in this exciting field. Brigid completed her Hypnotherapy training at Island Hypnosis Education Centre in Victoria, BC and received certification from the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association. She is registered as a Certified Consulting Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists. |
