We will start the evening by taking a look at how the HST will impact your business. How is the HST return completed? What items are subject to increased taxes? Is the tax rate lower on anything?
Next we will discuss the new EI measures for self-employed individuals. 2010 is the first year that entrepreneurs are able to opt-in to the Employment Insurance program. What are the costs? What are the alternatives?
Roxanne Haddrell has 12 years' experience in income tax preparation, most of them on the Sunshine Coast, as a tax preparer, as an office manager, and as a teacher.
