What's New

Wondering what a chapter meeting is like?

enterprising-women

Our chapter meeting typically lasts for 2 hours.  The format consists of:

- 45-min Speaker Presentation
- 15-min Networking Break
- 45-min Small Group Discussion

The collaborative small group discussion setting allows you to share your success stories and inspiration, brainstorm for ideas and suggestions, ask for feedback, and support other mom entrepreneurs with your own resources and experience.  We believe that more heads are better than one!  The collective group can usually come up with pretty creative ideas for solving your particular issue or problem, and if you need further assistance, you are more than welcome to request for a follow-up, and tap into the Enterprising Moms Network's collection of advisors, coaches, and resources.

Whatever the stage of your business, we welcome you to join us at our Chapter Meeting next month.  First time guests always attend free-of-charge .  We look forward to learning about you and your business!

Carrie McCarthy - Defining Your Style Statement

by Carrie McCarthy, creator of Style Statement

Tuesday December 13, 2011 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Have you ever felt out of sync with yourself? Ever been paralyzed by fear when making a choice? Ever accepted a project you knew in your heart was not a good fit? Or wondered why the latest and coolest dress works for your friend, but is a disaster on you?

Making clear decisions in this era of overwhelming choice is tough.

What if you had a "YOU" filter to apply to your life? A filter, which gave you confidence to know what works and what doesn't work for you? The very idea makes you relax, yes?

carrie_mccarthy_headshotCarrie McCarthy is the founder and co-author of Style Statement: Liveby Your Own Design. Her book, published by Little Brown & Co., is a Discover-It-Yourself guide to defining your authentic self. It is a compass for creating a life that reflects you in everyway, from your wisdom to your wardrobe, from your longings to your living room.

Carrie has conducted more than 2,00 Style Statement consultations with clients from all over the world, and has been featured in Real Simple, Elle,Vogue, Body & Soul, and Domino.

As an interior designer, Carrie offers a wonderful opportunity for people to discover and express their authentic style. She founded her company on the principle that true style creates both beauty and ease in people' s lives. She has designed for multi-million dollar estates and small studios, and styled for lifestyle magazines, luxury hotels and architectural firms. As a graduate of the London College of Fashion, Carrie established Robe, which was a dramatic contrast from her early career as a nationally ranked track and field athlete.

Carrie lives in Vancouver, B.C, Canada with her husband and two year old son.
